The journey of following Jesus was not meant to be an individual pursuit. Everyone needs to connect with a group of Christ followers for support, encouragement, biblical instruction, and prayer. Growth groups exist to provide a context for developing relationships within our faith family, live out the “one anothers” of the New Testament, and carry out the mission of God in our community and world. We hope you’ll check out a group that is right for you!
Ongoing Sunday Groups
These groups meet year-round on Sunday mornings and are great opportunities to connect with seasoned Christ-followers for fellowship and Bible study. Groups range from just a few people to large classroom settings of 70+ people, and include groups for all ages and seasons of life. While the curriculum varies from group to group, the one constant is that these groups are focused on a deeper study of God’s Word.

LifeGroups run for 6-12 weeks at various times and locations, and are semester-based to allow easy “on and off ramps” for those who may be new to Growth Groups. At the end of each semester, you will have the opportunity to stay in the same group, join a new group, or even take a break. Try it out!
Winter LifeGroups kick off the week of January 29.

Each semester moms get together weekly for encouragement, fun, and teaching on marriage, parenting, and other women’s issues. We also host moms playgroups around the county on a regular basis. Childcare is available.
Next Mom to Mom meetings start on Thursday, February 2. To sign up, email Lindsey at lkillian@fbcwpb.org.
Many in our community struggle with drug, alcohol, and sexual addictions. We partner with the House of Principles to provide biblically-based, redemption-focused groups almost every night of the week.
